Ducklings Nursery is putting plans in place to open a dedicated room for children aged between 12 months old and 24 months old.

“Waddlers” will provide all year round child care between 8am and 6pm.

Prices as follows
Full-day:
Between 8am and 4pm : £32 flat fee
Extended to 5pm : £36
Extended to 6pm : £40
Half Day
Between 8am and 12pm : £20
Extended to 1pm : £24
1pm to 5pm : £20
Extended to 6pm : £25

Child care vouchers can be used for places at Waddlers.

Commenting on this new offering, Nursery Leader Janet Dawson said “This is a really exciting development for Ducklings Nursery and fitting that we should continue our expansion by opening a toddler room in the same year we celebrate our 40th Anniversary.

We regularly get enquiries for this younger age range and there seems to have been a baby-boom this year with so many of our existing parents recently having given birth or expecting a child, so we know the need is there.”

There is a real buzz around the town at the moment through the Love Ormskirk campaign and we hope our initiative will help support local businesses by providing an affordable childcare solution for parents in the centre of town.”

Following the Ducklings theme, the dedicated toddler room has been named Waddlers, and will be set out with toys and equipment especially for this age range. The team we’ve put together to care for the children in Waddlers are all experienced in teaching this age group and learning activities will be specifically planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage to excite children to learn.

There are limited places and we expect these to be very popular.
