Ducklings Nursery offers swimming lessons for children aged 2 and over who attend the Nursery.
The lessons take place on Wednesdays afternoons at Park Pool in Ormskirk with a qualified swimming instructor who is in the water with the children at all times.
We have arranged for children to have two free taster lessons with the tutor before committing to a course of lessons which are over 10 weeks.
The service is ideal for those parents who are working or have other children and find it difficult to set aside time consistently to teach their child to swim as staff from Ducklings transport the children to and from the Pool (in our Donald car!).
Oliver’s always loved swimming, so we never had a problem but children that have been a bit nervous have really been helped by the swimming instructor Mike as he doesn’t push them, but lets them move at their own pace until they’re ready. Well worth the money - would recommend to anyone thinking of swimming lessons.
